Our locations

Redwood operates in North America and Europe to create a sustainable battery supply chain.

Localizing the global battery supply chain across the US and Europe will be critical to driving down the costs and increasing the sustainability of electric vehicles and clean energy storage.

100 GWh

Sustainable battery materials produced

We will eventually produce over 100 GWh of battery materials at both sites, enough to produce more than one million EVs annually.

3,000

Headcount growth

Redwood will hire over 3,000 new people to staff the Tahoe and Carolina Campuses.

900

Campus acreage

Redwood is building on over 900 acres between its Tahoe and Carolina Campus sites.

Sparks, Nevada

Located in the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center, Redwood’s Tahoe Campus spans 300 acres with operations across recycling, refining, and materials production. Ultimately, Redwood plans to produce 100 GWh of sustainable battery materials at this site annually, which will be the most sustainable battery materials ever produced and the first-of-their kind in North America.

Charleston, South Carolina

Set on over 600 acres, Redwood’s Carolina Campus will recycle, refine, and manufacture sustainable battery materials. With an investment of $3.5 billion over the next decade, the facility aims to generate over 1,500 jobs, bolstering the supply chain for battery materials in the U.S. through innovative recycling and refining processes.

Bremerhaven, Germany

Redwood Germany is equipped to recycle 10,000 tonnes of batteries annually, handling various lithium-ion chemistries and form factors. Its strategic location adjacent to the Bremerhaven Port enables efficient transportation and recycling of electric vehicle packs and batteries from across the European continent.
